PRODUCER
Jahangard’s love for filmmaking began years prior to the completion of his B.S. from Cal Poly Pomona in 1994. While working full time in the manufacturing industry, Jahangard completed his M.S. in Engineering & Production Management from Loyola Marymount University in December 2000. To fulfill his life-long dream of filmmaking, Jahangard dedicated extraneous hours to learning about film production. The similarities between manufacturing’s philosophy of “Lean Production” and “Film Production”, facilitated Jahangard’s frame of mind to write, act and produce the feature film One More Round. Additionally, Jahangard’s several years of Kung Fu, Aikido, and Jeet Kune Do training, gave him the discipline necessary to “transform from an overweight, paunchy palooka into a far more confident man, leaner of body and mind.” The makeover consisted of a 30 lb weight loss in less than 60 days for the lead role as “Joseph Rex”. Roy Jahangard is a first-time Actor/Writer/Producer in the theatrical feature film, One More Round. |
